Mehmet Nuri Ersoy reappointed as Türkiye's Minister of Culture and Tourism

Ersoy, who has been highly successful as a tourism expert in the resort, is also highly appreciated for his commitment to culture. He has also been able to gain the respect of the Turkish travel industry by founding the "Tourism Development Agency (TGA) and its effective PR and marketing campaigns.

Who is Mehmet Nuri Ersoy?

Mehmet Nuri Ersoy, who was re-appointed as the Minister of Culture and Tourism, was born in Istanbul in 1968. After graduating from German High School, he graduated from Istanbul University, Faculty of Business Administration, Department of Business Administration in English. In 1985, while continuing his high school education, he entered the tourism sector and business world as a guide. In 1991, after completing his university education, he founded his company providing package tour and hotel accommodation services. In 2000, Mehmet Nuri Ersoy entered the hotel management sector and after 33 years in the tourism sector, he was appointed by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan as the Minister of Culture and Tourism in the first cabinet of the Presidential Government System. Upon his appointment as Minister on 9 July 2018, Mehmet Nuri Ersoy handed over all his duties and titles in his company.

Mehmet Nuri Ersoy, who speaks German and English, is married to Pervin Ersoy and has two children.
